Returns Policy – a-beauty

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after the date you purchased your item to request a return. You can return an item for the following reasons:

  • the product is damaged or the packaging is faulty;
  • the product caused you to suffer an allergic reaction; or
  • you received the wrong product.

  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused (except in the case of an allergic reaction), with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need your receipt or proof of purchase. 

    Please note, we do not accept returns if you have changed your mind.

    Refund, Exchange or Store Credit 

    If you request a return correctly in accordance with the return instructions below, then subject any applicable consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, we will:

    • Refund – provide you with a refund of the purchase price if the product returned is in a new, unused and resaleable condition and the product is being returned for any permitted reason other than a change of mind; or 
    • Exchange/store credit – provide you with a replacement product or a store credit equal to the purchase price of the returned product if the product returned has been lightly sampled, opened or unwrapped and the product is being returned for any permitted reason.

    How to request a return 

    First, please confirm that you are able to return the item for one of the permitted reasons described above.

    If you believe that your product is able to be returned in accordance with this policy, please send us an email at hello@abeauty.co with the subject line “Return Request” and include your order number or your invoice number.

    Please ensure that you also send us proof of your purchase and your contact information.

    We will then contact you with 48 hours to discuss the nature of your return and to agree on whether a refund is appropriate, or whether an exchange or store credit will be offered.

    Once we have agreed on the terms of the return with you, depending on the nature of the return we will send you a return label (if the item is damaged or faulty) however if its a change of mine, you are responsible for shipping charges to return any unwanted items. 

    Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

    Once the item has been received by us, we will evaluate the condition of the item and process your return in accordance with this policy.

    Damaged items, faulty packaging or incorrect item 

    Please inspect your order on delivery and contact us within 24 hours if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right as quickly as possible.

    If you place an order and do not collect it from from your local Post Office before it gets returned to us

    If your order is not collected in time and sent back to us (RTS) we will either reprocess your item and charge you the additional postage fee prior to sending it out or we can process a refund if the item returns to us in a resaleable condition, there will however be a $7.95 processing fee that will be deducted from the refund amount.

    Items that cannot be returned 

    Certain types of items cannot be returned. We will not accept or process returns for the following products:

    • candles that have been used or burned;
    • beauty tools and applicators;
    • used cosmetics;
    • gift cards; and
    • any product that is not able to be re-sold.
